I'm a bit of a language-learning enthusiast. I love languages, love travel. But I absolutely suck at trying to remember words & phrases. I was playing this kids study game once, and I was like "why is this so much fun? And why is this only for kids??" So I started brainstorming an idea for my own perfect study app. I got together a small team of graphic designers, translators, and voice actors. And an app was born.
The app is, in a nutshell, flashcards made fun. The phrases to remember are in the flow of 1-2 minute conversations. Yet at each step of the conversation, the phrase varies depending on which words a learner is having difficulty with, based on how correctly they have answered such phrases in each game. The app assumes a basic understanding of Japanese already. It is more targetted towards the upper-beginner to intermediate level, who want to practice real-world scenarios in a fun environment.
